From the song, I felt a summer-ambience kind of vibe and envisioned something ambient and electronic, so I wanted to make the visuals feel cool and refreshing. Although the meaning of the scenes themselves is abstract, I aligned the visuals with the beat and repeated the processes of editing and creating material to match the worldview of the lyrics, aiming for something that felt cohesively connected overall. For the graphic production and compositing (mainly in Blender, with a little final work in AE as well), I kept searching for something that matched the worldview and was pleasant to watch. During the material creation stage, I tried many different things with compositing in Blender, experimenting through trial and error, and connected various nodes together so that, even within abstraction, it would become something attractive and evocative. I did a lot of experimenting.

"Blue Journey" is a new music project by hololive, the female VTuber group under hololive production. As the starting point of Blue Journey's journey, this video focuses on "depicting the past as the past and connecting it to the future," pursuing an expression reminiscent of "luxurious retro games." By combining Cinema 4D and Redshift, we were able to achieve a pixel-art look while also incorporating depth and volumetric lighting, resulting in a fresh new look that differs slightly from the conventional expression of retro games.

A music video sung by the weekday Kymerio from “YUKI×AOI Chimera Project,” a project themed around the bestial transformation of words, for which Aoi Yuki serves as planner, original concept creator, and character designer. The story parts, created with hand-drawn animation, depict the mysterious Kymerios that devour words, along with the frightening side hidden beneath their adorable appearance. The cutout parts, assembled by taking the character pieces apart and turning them into digital stop-motion animation, highlight the Kymerios’ personality and charm. Composed of these two forms of expression, the video portrays the Kymerio’s dual nature.
