With a strength in high-quality visual expression, he demonstrates outstanding creative direction across the entire filmmaking process—from project development and directing to screenwriting, motion design, VFX direction, special effects production, and advertising key visual creation. At the core of his aesthetic is the belief in connecting clients and audiences in the most meaningful way possible, and his originality and technical expertise continue to draw attention both within and beyond the industry.
In 2023, drawing on his experience and insight to date, he founded the creative company “PiLAF.” From strategic planning and visual production to digital content development, he aims to provide comprehensive entertainment solutions.

A visual artist who moves effortlessly between the worlds of film and graphics. From title designs for acclaimed works such as The Naked Director, Tokyo Swindlers, and Bakuman., to commercial production for major brands like NIKE and TOYOTA, and music videos for acts including Kanjani∞ and Denki Groove, he pursues original visual expression across a wide range of genres. Crossing over the worlds of television, film, music, and advertising, he has created many striking works that fuse storytelling with visuals. The opening sequence features narration by Takayuki Yamada, explaining the work of land swindler. The music is composed by Takkyu Ishino. The film focuses on introducing this peculiar crime, born out of Japan's unique document culture, to an international audience. It begins by showcasing the meticulous process of creating forged documents used in their scams. Additionally, Jimen-shi are said to scan the city from a bird’s-eye view in search of targets, and this perspective is visualized through a combination of aerial footage of Tokyo and residential maps, illustrating the real-life locations of land fraud cases that have occurred since postwar Japan.
