I was responsible for the direction and editing of the opening and pre-show videos for HENNGE Inc.'s new product launch event, “HENNGE Unveiled 2026.” Based on this event’s theme of next-generation zero-trust strategy, I expressed the idea of new solutions in an uncertain era through ever-changing visuals, where contours dissolve and then reemerge. By reworking the key visual into a dynamic sequence and using continuously transforming shapes, the piece conveys the company’s forward-evolving stance and anticipation for the new product.

We were responsible for the direction, design, and editing of the concept movie for “MotionBoard,” the business intelligence tool provided by WingArc 1st. The new version of “MotionBoard,” equipped with generative AI, makes analysis and board creation more intuitive and has evolved significantly in usability, enabling not only engineers but also frontline staff to develop business applications and leverage data in-house with greater ease. In the video, we depict data spreading through an abstract world and being handled with light, effortless operations, expressing its freedom of use and sense of innovation. Furthermore, by using soft colors and a friendly tone, we soften the rigid and difficult image often associated with BI tools, creating an impression that is approachable and easy for anyone to use.

In conjunction with the launch of Kurashiki Kako Co., Ltd.’s new corporate brand, “KURATECA,” we were responsible for the direction, design, and editing of the brand concept film. Kurashiki Kako provides products that support comfortable and safe living, leveraging its vibration and anti-vibration technologies used across a wide range of fields. By visualizing this invisible vibration control technology through live-action footage and animation, we created a film that conveys the company’s solid, life-integrated technology and helps support its outreach to the world.

The natural landscape of Hokuriku, filled with a strong sense of vitality, and the Gassho-zukuri houses that have stood unchanged for centuries. We were responsible for producing the still photography and promotional video for the Only on Airbnb project, which offers a special stay in one of the houses in Suganuma Village, Gokayama, a hidden area surrounded by towering, rugged mountains along the Shogawa River in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture. The nine Gassho-zukuri houses standing amid untouched, rich natural surroundings, along with the atmosphere of the area, are truly a quintessential Japanese landscape. We focused on how to capture, in an authentic and compelling way, the history and culture handed down here, as well as the scenes created by the lives of the people who live there. The photographer was Satoshi Nagare, who has received high acclaim for interior and exterior shots in domestic and international media, including Casa Brutus. The video DP was Jin Ito, and the drone footage was shot by Tetsuichiro Kitagawa. The work was distributed to news media around the world at a press event held on site on 6/21, and received an excellent response from media outlets in various countries.

We created a brand film for ALPINE, a premium car audio brand from Japan with fans around the world. With the concept “SOUNDWARDS / Toward great sound,” we expressed a simple yet powerful brand message through dynamic visuals and music: where the best sound resonates, the best people gather and the best spaces are born. A great live performance and the audience drawn to it create the ultimate atmosphere. We captured that sense of being irresistibly drawn in with dynamic camerawork, making extensive use of drones. The music was created by KAITO, also known as Hiroshi Watanabe, whose work is released worldwide through Germany’s largest record label. The film direction and DP were handled by Senzo Ueno, and the overall planning and production were a collaboration with the creative agency Drill.

I was responsible for the motion design and compositing in the scenes where the frame is in motion. For the camera motion, I used a lot of linear movement, creating motion design that brings out the appeal of the animation within a limited runtime. Even with the constraint of using only black and white, I made full use of impact frames and vignettes to express atmosphere and tension.

A short animated work broadcast within TV Tokyo’s infant and toddler program “Sinapushu.” Centered on the special moment of a “birthday” found in everyday life, it portrays feelings of celebration through rhythmic movement synchronized with the music and vividly colored visual expression. uwabami was responsible for the character design and animation direction. With a structure designed to capture the attention of infants and toddlers through an engaging tempo and repetition, it has surpassed 3 million views on YouTube and is beloved by a wide audience.

We produced a brand movie and sound logo for Nissay MIRAIQA, a company 100% funded by Nippon Life and built around the concept of “solving the small questions people face in everyday life through services and apps rather than insurance.” Based on the meaning behind the company name—“questions (Q) and answers (A) for the future (MIRAI)”—as well as the logo concept combining “?” and “!”, we directed the piece around a single line animation that expresses a story beginning with a question (?) and leading to an answer (!). By blending the analog warmth that evokes the human touch and hope associated with an insurance company with a digital sensibility that calls to mind the future and technology, we aimed to create motion design that conveys reassurance and stability while reaching a broad audience.
