I was responsible for the direction and editing of the opening and pre-show videos for HENNGE Inc.'s new product launch event, “HENNGE Unveiled 2026.” Based on this event’s theme of next-generation zero-trust strategy, I expressed the idea of new solutions in an uncertain era through ever-changing visuals, where contours dissolve and then reemerge. By reworking the key visual into a dynamic sequence and using continuously transforming shapes, the piece conveys the company’s forward-evolving stance and anticipation for the new product.

We were responsible for the direction, design, and editing of the concept movie for “MotionBoard,” the business intelligence tool provided by WingArc 1st. The new version of “MotionBoard,” equipped with generative AI, makes analysis and board creation more intuitive and has evolved significantly in usability, enabling not only engineers but also frontline staff to develop business applications and leverage data in-house with greater ease. In the video, we depict data spreading through an abstract world and being handled with light, effortless operations, expressing its freedom of use and sense of innovation. Furthermore, by using soft colors and a friendly tone, we soften the rigid and difficult image often associated with BI tools, creating an impression that is approachable and easy for anyone to use.

We were responsible for the direction, design, and editing of the teaser video for Fuji Television Network, Inc.’s drama If the World Were a Stage, Where Would the Dressing Room Be? This serial drama, for which Koki Mitani is writing the script for the first time in 25 years, is an ensemble coming-of-age story set in Shibuya in 1984. Centered on the theater that holds the key to the story, it features a single-take composition in which Kube, played by Masaki Suda, looks straight into the camera. A parallax effect that makes the cast names appear to float in space evokes the scale and atmosphere of the stage. We brought the world of the drama to life through fonts and designs reminiscent of the Showa era.

Kurashiki Kako provides products that support comfortable and safe living, leveraging its vibration and anti-vibration technologies used across a wide range of fields. By visualizing this invisible vibration control technology through live-action footage and animation, we created a film that conveys the company’s solid, life-integrated technology and helps support its outreach to the world.

HENNGE WAY, the nine core principles valued by the diverse people who work at HENNGE, were visualized through graphics that express the message behind each one, then brought to life with animation. The motion was designed to help convey the sentiments embedded in them in a more three-dimensional way. Through the visual expression, I aimed to further embody HENNGE’s attitude of embracing change without fear, enjoying it, and continuing to take on challenges with a positive mindset.

Using simple line illustrations, the piece expresses Marui’s vision of realizing an inclusive society in which everyone can feel “happiness.” The animation, in which lines extend and overlap as they connect, symbolizes the way people’s lives expand vibrantly, depicting a bright and open future where each individual can choose their own happiness.

In this video, we depicted a world where that has become the norm through illustrations. We also used a soft color palette and gentle, spacious animation so that people could feel comfortable picking up a menstrual product, which is a delicate item, with ease.

This video was created to dispel concerns about issues related to My Number and to encourage its use. In order to help viewers feel reassured about the government’s initiatives, we structured the piece with an emphasis on an honest and warm visual world. Since animation is viewed by people of all ages and genders, we aimed for direction that allows each shot to convey information clearly and thoroughly.

In the website renewal accompanying the rebranding of NewPeace Inc., we were responsible for directing the main visual animation and creating the CG moving image (motion graphics). NewPeace is a visioning company that solves diverse challenges faced by businesses, brands, and society through creativity. We expressed their vision of “creating passionate connections through the power of community and technology” with a wide variety of distinctive characters and lively, high-energy animation full of excitement. Rather than simply embedding the video into the website, we worked closely with Studio Details to refine how it would be presented, aiming to create a better user experience. For example, in the scroll-linked animation, we conducted extensive testing to achieve camera work that would be immersive for users while also feeling smooth and satisfying to interact with. We were responsible for the direction and CG moving image (motion graphics) production of the digital signage video for Bridgestone’s proving ground, the “Bridgestone Proving Ground,” which is owned by Bridgestone Corporation. This video plays at the entrance of the Bridgestone Proving Ground and is prominently displayed on an eight-panel monitor spanning approximately 5 meters in width. By incorporating dynamic motion that takes advantage of the wide-format monitor, we created a visually striking and symbolic piece. We hope it conveys the possibilities of tire development that Bridgestone pursues with dedication, as well as the sense of anticipation for the vision it aims to achieve in the future.

We were in charge of the direction and CG moving images for a web video produced by Nissan Motor to celebrate a second consecutive championship in the 2023 SUPER GT series, Japan’s premier touring car racing series. In 2022, in both the GT500 and GT300 classes of Japan’s highest-level touring car racing series, the SUPER GT, “TEAM IMPUL” and “KONDO RACING,” both supported by Nissan Motor and Nissan Motorsport & Customizing, each won the series championship. To commemorate a possible second straight title in 2023 as well, Jazztronik (Ryota Nozaki) arranged Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9,” a year-end tradition, using actual engine sounds from the GT Series, pit sounds, crowd cheers, and more. We hope you enjoy this video, which is a fitting way to close out 2022. To make this unusual collaboration even more enjoyable, we used a variety of techniques, such as switching shots in rhythm with the dynamic jazz arrangement and placing the carefully integrated motorsport sounds on screen so they could be visually perceived.

Description: We were responsible for directing and creating the CG moving image (motion graphics) for Disco Corporation’s corporate commercial videos: the Kiru Experiment “Blade Dicing” edition, the Kezuru Experiment “Grinding” edition, the Migaku Experiment “Polishing” edition, and the Kiru Experiment “Laser Dicing” edition. Disco continues to support the manufacturing of semiconductors, which are indispensable to modern society, with its advanced technological capabilities. Using Disco’s unique technologies of “cutting,” “grinding,” and “polishing,” we created scenes that process familiar everyday objects so that the sophistication of its technology and the sense of wonder it inspires can be conveyed more clearly. Through this video, we hope viewers will become interested in Disco’s products, and at the same time gain a sense of the atmosphere and corporate culture of the people who work there. While clearly conveying the product’s benefits, we aimed for a humorous presentation that would encourage as many people as possible to take an interest in a medicine that can sometimes feel somewhat serious. By incorporating a dotted texture treatment into the illustrations, we created a striking visual world that evokes classic RPGs. We would be delighted if this video helps many people learn about the product.

I was responsible for directing and editing the promotional video for CUBERU, a sauna enclosure sold by Ueda Shokai Co., Ltd. CUBERU is a new sauna enclosure created using the concrete product manufacturing technology that Ueda Shokai has cultivated over many years. It combines the high design quality, durability, and heat-retention properties of concrete, delivering a new sauna experience. For this video, we used many shots that convey the solid, concrete-like character of the product, and we aimed to better highlight its strong sense of design. In addition, to convey a comfortable sauna experience through the model, we paid close attention to the composition, gestures, and camera work during filming. Through this video, we hope to share the appeal of the new sauna experience that CUBERU offers.

We were responsible for the title design and animation (motion graphics) of the onomatopoeia in the web movie for Shiseido Senka All Clear Oil. Using onomatopoeia to convey the product’s key features, such as effortlessly removing makeup with a resilient oil without rubbing. Inspired by sound effects like “danryoku” and “purun,” we expanded on the imagery of movement and created pop, rhythmic, and pleasing motions in sync with the dance.

Description: We were responsible for directing and creating the CG moving image (motion graphics) for the promotional movie for “Henzutsu Karuta,” planned and produced by the Henzutsu Department of Japan Eli Lilly K.K. Henzutsu Karuta is a karuta card game created to help people who suffer from migraines empathize with one another and to promote understanding of migraines. Common migraine experiences, which are ordinarily negative, are expressed in a friendly way through humorous illustrations and intuitive glitch-style typography. In the promotional movie as well, we incorporated lively animation and three-dimensional movement that keeps viewers engaged, with the aim of making them feel the joy of shared empathy.
