The succession of fleeting moments we layer upon one another is never the same, and everything changes and shifts. The human consciousness that can travel, the instant it comes into contact with things, to a place that exists nowhere in the past or future. In a world that remains uncertain and constantly in flux, only the sensation of this body, existing solely in the reality of the present, when it touches something, can be recognized as “now.” That moment is precious. SEVENTEEN (SEVENTEEN) JAPAN 4TH SINGLE "Expiration Date" Promotion video assets for the included track “Circles -Japanese ver.-” The song’s message of “going around and around, then returning to where it started” is expressed through the movement of the animation and the texture of the motifs. Using soap bubbles (transparent spherical forms) as the main motif, the animation gently and softly depicts them drifting, transforming, and touching various things as they travel through space. The piece ends by returning to the opening scene, creating a loopable structure.

Description: I animated a scene of the bored Medama-Oyaji playing with Nuraikabe and Ittan Momen. He gets hooked on the feel of Ittan Momen clinging to him and the moment it falls into the tea-bowl bath, so Medama-Oyaji keeps playing the same game over and over again forever. Screened and exhibited at the Shigeru Mizuki 100th Anniversary Commemorative GeGeGe no Kitaro Tribute Art Exhibition, “Kitaro EXPO” (2023.8.11–8.27).

For SUNTORY × Yoruwamawaruyo, an original looped animation was created under the theme “#NextRecycleThoughts.” The animation expressively depicts the process of PET bottles being recycled through pleasantly tactile movement.

Description: This work was created for the “Audio Architecture” exhibition held in 2018 at “21_21 DESIGN SIGHT.” The artists interpreted the new song “AUDIO ARCHITECTURE,” written by musician Keigo Oyamada (Cornelius) for the exhibition, from their own perspectives and produced a video work. - airflow Focusing on the structure in the lyrics that contrasts various senses, this piece expresses subtle shifts in perception. Everyday objects such as sushi, tissues, and balloons are arranged in multiple rows and initially move in the same way, but because each is drawn separately, small differences in shape and motion naturally emerge over time.
