A heartwarming, violent boys’ love anime that the creator took on with full commitment in order to answer the question of what can help someone so badly hurt that they cannot even stand up.

Produced as a welcome movie for TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU. A geyser erupted on “Shinjuku Island,” the sleepless island floating in the middle of the eastern sea. Ichiro and Futako, born together with the column of water, set off to explore the island with unstoppable momentum. Glittering signs, ultra-fast conveyor-belt sushi, towers of cocktails, and so many things they have never seen before! People and the city undulate like a roller coaster, creating one groove together.

An original animation created for FamilyMart’s “Artist Support Project,” which launched last year. Based on the world of the paintings presented in the solo exhibition “Quishinbo Room,” held at museum shop T in 2021, it has been finished in a colorful, pop style by adding the sense of depth unique to animation and the rhythmic movements of Ichiro and Futako. Distributed since February 2022 at stores nationwide equipped with digital signage.

We were in charge of producing the promotional video for the renewal opening of “Gransta Tokyo.” Using the VR creative platform “STYLY,” we transformed five illustrations created as shutter ads into a video with a sense of depth. I created a story about “recovering in an instant,” a must-have in our fast-paced world. - Backstory Since the release was in early February, and because of the song title “Aisu,” I initially tried to develop the piece around the motif of “chocolate ice cream.” However, I was astonished to learn that “Aisu” is read as “Busu,” but I stubbornly kept the candy-town image intact and worked hard to match it to the lyrics. - About the technique Using Styly, a browser-based platform for creating VR, I placed still images and GIF animations in a 360-degree space like standing signs, operated the camera, and recorded the screen, then composited the character animation in Premiere.
