I was responsible for directing, art direction, editing, and animation for Chara’s “Ai no Heaven” music video. A man and a woman searching for the whereabouts of love timidly grope their way through uncertainty, as if trying to confirm something unsure, wandering and drifting aimlessly. Moving back and forth through spaces of different colors that express the wavering emotions that change from moment to moment, believing that beyond where their innocent souls arrive, there is surely an “Ai no Heaven.”

Using the theme song of the creative studio “FIXION,” produced by ONIGAWARA, we created our own music video. The animated dance is by Kazuho Monster. This work blends the track’s 80s feel with FIXION’s vivid, graphic style.
