- Kazuma Morino Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1966. Founded Stripe Factory in 1998. Received awards for ten works at SIGGRAPH, the world’s leading CG conference, between 1993 and 2003. Also won numerous international awards, including Prix Ars Electronica and Imagina in 1998. He has been active both in Japan and abroad, participating in special exhibitions at venues including the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum. His representative solo works include RUNNERS (1997) and STRIPE BOX (1993). He has also worked on numerous TV commercials, motion graphics for clients such as Toshiba, Suntory, and NTV, served as overall director for the first floor of the Seto Japan Pavilion at the Aichi Expo, directed promotional videos for artists including KEN ISHII and Yosui Inoue, and, together with product designer Yoji Ishii and artist Chie Tanaka, launched the mono brand “Lineworks,” through which he has been involved in planning and creating a variety of products.
