By blending private footage, live-action fluids, and generative AI, I tried to visualize the personal texture and sensation of the sound. I would be delighted if you could also feel the universality of the lyrics, which still resonate today, through the visuals. The fluid seen in the MV is actually the wax from a Lava Lamp in my home. Using the simple principles of gravity and temperature, this man-made object creates an organic landscape like “wind.” To me, the Lava Lamp is a brilliant invention. Official trailer for the 12th New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival. Using natural motifs such as ripples, droplets, and the moon, I wanted to express the festival’s divine energy and a pure admiration for the works. I also used AI to transform hand-drawn 2D animation into three-dimensional, realistic water, making it possible to “move water,” something that had previously been difficult to achieve. On the other hand, I intentionally reduced the image quality and frame rate of the AI-generated footage, and composed the music with a deliberately simple, primal feel, aiming to evoke the festival’s atmosphere where “warmth and sharpness intersect.”

Music animation for the Electronica band Tōu’s song “Be Gone.” Combining AI-generated video and hand-drawn 2D animation in an experimental way, it tells the story of a smartphone that, through accidental flashes of inspiration, experiences the plight of modern people and learns what it means to be human between life and death.
