Special Nikkei Electronic Edition Project to Read the Future of 2030 We planned and produced the trailer movie for #GO2030, a special 10th anniversary project for The Nikkei electronic edition. #GO2030 is a feature article series that looks ahead to the next 10 years together with a wide range of opinion leaders. CONCEPT In this age of upheaval, it is difficult to predict what the next 10 years will bring. Could anyone really have predicted the world as it is today, 10 years ago? By rapidly layering Nikkei newspaper headlines, we created a piece that lets viewers relive these turbulent 10 years, and builds anticipation for “future forecasts by opinion leaders” beginning within the Nikkei electronic edition. #GO2030

“2025 Osaka–Kansai Expo Bid Plan” Mori Art Museum Exhibition In 2025, the proposed site plan for the Osaka–Kansai Expo bid activity centers on keywords such as “decentralization” and “dispersal” to embody a future society, expressing the constantly changing relationships among diverse individuals and groups that are unique to our time. At the same time, it is also a model for a next-generation urban structure, designed to accommodate the operation of new urban elements such as autonomous mobility, including self-driving vehicles, and AR/MR (augmented reality/mixed reality). In this exhibition, the various new initiatives and characteristics incorporated into the plan are reconfigured as one possible form of the future city. In the cities of the future, diverse users interact in complex and dispersed ways within digital space. There is the “physical world,” which we perceive as objects, and the “information world,” represented by the web, as well as a “common ground” that serves as the intermediary realm between them. This exhibition expresses the social implementation of common ground. Visitors can experience the perceptual gaps between humans and digital agents, as well as our relationship with a world on an urban scale that cannot be perceived by humans.

ASO CALDERA HIKE At the plaza in front of JR Kumamoto Station, we unveiled “ASO CALDERA HIKE,” a विशाल space themed around the Aso Caldera, a symbol of Kumamoto’s great natural landscape, with a maximum diameter of approximately 24 meters and a maximum height of approximately 2.4 meters. “What if Kumamoto’s great nature came to the very center of the city?” ASO CALDERA HIKE is a content experience that lets visitors immerse themselves in Aso, the symbol of Kumamoto’s natural beauty. A giant object, inspired by the outer rim mountains encircling the Aso Caldera and measuring up to approximately 24 meters in diameter, was installed at Amu Hiroba. Visitors can step inside the ring-shaped structure, wander around, or sit and relax at their leisure. At night, a show and interstitial effects are performed using a high-brightness projector of approximately 40,000 lumens installed on the upper floors of the station building. PARTY was responsible for the planning and overall direction. Period: Friday, December 3, 2021 – Monday, January 10, 2022 (national holiday) Location: Amu Hiroba (Shirakawa Exit Station Plaza, in front of Kumamoto Station) Show Direction: HIKING SEASONS The theme is the four seasons of Aso. This is an immersive art experience in which visitors walk through a giant object modeled after the Aso Caldera and enjoy the changing, majestic scenery of Aso. From January, when the land is covered in snow and ice, to controlled grass burning, fresh greenery, Miyama kirishima azaleas, grass and blue skies, and pampas grass tinged by the setting sun, leading to a December landscape sparkling with countless stars. A vast projection spread across approximately 600㎡ brings to life Aso’s magnificent scenery as it transforms with the seasons.
