Profile: Born in 1982. After studying drawing animation and puppet animation in the TV & Film Graphic Department at UMPRUM, the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, from 2006, he completed the Animation Program at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. Working fluidly across live action, artwork, and animation, he handles a broad range of disciplines, from video direction and art direction to animation direction, character design, and illustration. Grounded in motifs and a sense of scale that evoke a universally resonant nostalgia, his work combines contemporary, highly refined ideas and devices, making it possible to bring the distance between a piece and its audience into remarkably close proximity. His style is not confined to descriptions such as “analog expression” or “craftsmanship,” but exudes a commanding presence that goes far beyond them.

Biography: Annecy（フランス）、Golden Kuker-Sofia（ブルガリア）、ANIFILMなどを始めとした国際映画祭での受賞/招待上映や、ACC、AD FESTなど広告祭での受賞多数。2017年、CJ E&M Corp.（韓国）が主催するアジア最大級の音楽アワード「Mnet Asian Music Awards」Professional Categoriesにおいて、Best Video Director of the yearを受賞。また、2018年にはNew York FestivalsのMusic VideoカテゴリーにてWorld Gold Medalを受賞。
