In the initial concept, we truly entrusted part of the production to AI, exploring a singularity-like structure: what does it mean for AI to possess a self and express itself? However, while AI is suited to producing “something similar” as a form of collective intelligence, when it comes to depicting “the beauty within unease” or “human-like misalignment,” human hands were inevitably necessary. As a result, we shifted to a design in which AI expressions are “intentionally reconstructed by humans,” arriving at a paradoxical approach in which humans manually create the very condition of AI’s “imperfection.” We have designed it as a game, in a sense: a contrastive device that highlights human creativity by having humans deliberately create something AI-like.

A music video commemorating the 10th anniversary of Assassination Classroom. We created it in a reverse-flow style, assembling collaborations with various artists into one edit. It became a work like a motion-design festival.

Spherephony is an experimental music video that aims to harmonize sonic and visual textures. Spherephony expresses the creative flow and the process of exploration as a sphere travels through various landscapes, encountering, playing, and harmonizing with different sounds.

Multidimensional visual expression

A lyric video for Haruomi Hosono’s “Nettaiya” by Balming Tiger. To evoke a drowsy, dreamlike atmosphere, it is composed using techniques such as slit-scan imagery of text and car windows, and transferring images onto paper before rubbing them once and scanning them again.

I handled all the art direction and created the visuals for Age Factory’s Remixes 2026. Please take a look.

I directed the music video for Tyrkouaz - REBOOOOT. It was created using a variety of approaches, including volumetric video and circuit-bent video effectors. I built the visual world by drawing on game titles and cultural influences that the two artists were inspired by. A two-piece drum and bass duo with guitar and drums is so cool.

When I first heard this song, I felt my emotions scatter in every direction, as if confusion and calm were spreading through my chest at the same time. A faint hope within sorrow. A small flame flickering without fading, deep inside a frozen body. This work began by gently gathering those contradictory feelings, the fact that they simply “exist,” as a visual expression. This music video depicts an emotional journey that begins with a parting. How a heart that has experienced loss wavers, and eventually moves toward acceptance. That inner transformation is carefully woven together through color design, lighting, framing, and camera movement synchronized to the rhythm. A room submerged in water, an empty deep sea, a motorcycle racing through the city at night— all of it symbolizes the protagonist’s mental state and emerges as an inner landscape. For the lighting, rather than direct light, I deliberately used reflections and silhouettes to leave room for ambiguity instead of clear-cut “answers.” The camera work was designed to visualize the heart’s fluctuations, shifting like waves from stillness to motion, from tight to wide. As for the structure, I prioritized the flow of emotion over a conventional storyline, so that viewers could focus on simply “feeling” the piece. Scattered memories and thoughts overlap into a single mental landscape, and before long, quietly, they become a tear. That pool of water may perhaps be an ocean made of one’s own tears. I would be happy if this video could gently resonate somewhere with the “deep sea” that exists within each viewer.

A music video featuring a warm-touch animation depiction of GReeeeN (GRe4N BOYZ)’s famous song “Aiuta,” performed by the much-talked-about child singer Yuina Ishii.

From the song, I felt a summer-ambience kind of vibe and envisioned something ambient and electronic, so I wanted to make the visuals feel cool and refreshing. Although the meaning of the scenes themselves is abstract, I aligned the visuals with the beat and repeated the processes of editing and creating material to match the worldview of the lyrics, aiming for something that felt cohesively connected overall. For the graphic production and compositing (mainly in Blender, with a little final work in AE as well), I kept searching for something that matched the worldview and was pleasant to watch. During the material creation stage, I tried many different things with compositing in Blender, experimenting through trial and error, and connected various nodes together so that, even within abstraction, it would become something attractive and evocative. I did a lot of experimenting.

Directed and produced the music video for Saku’s “Shin.” Inspired by the sonic texture of the song itself, they created a minimalist music video composed of a cuboid room, lighting, and objects scattered throughout the space.

Coachella 2026 - Adriatique VISUAL

From the creative tech label THE LUV BUGS, we produced the music video for Saku and Somunia’s “Friend Code.” Based on the concept of whether the song’s sonic world could be expressed visually as it is, we created a visualizer that feels as if it is moving forward through light. The result is a unique music video that blends 3DCG, hand-drawn animation, and compositing work.

Theme: a convenient relationship between a man and a woman. The editing constructs a rhythm sustained by the gaps in sound and the intentions of a man and a woman who never fully align. In addition to BONJIN’s editorial perspective, the video also incorporates collages created by the artist himself.

I was in charge of the Creative Direction/VFX/CG/editing aspects of the music video for REIRIE’s “Aishiteyo.”

As part of MUSIC LOVES ART 2025, a project in collaboration between the Agency for Cultural Affairs and the urban music festival “SUMMER SONIC,” we created a visual work inspired by Mega Shinnosuke’s “Togenkyo to Taxi.” It was screened for 17 days, from Friday, August 15 to Sunday, August 31, 2025, on designated signage in Osaka and Suita (including Expo ’70 Commemorative Park) and in Chiba (Makuhari Shintoshin). The song’s pop and dreamlike world is visualized in 3DCG through vivid colors with a whimsical yet cool sensibility. Centered on motifs inspired by the lyrics, the materials and graphics weave together playfulness and logic. To accommodate the differing aspect ratios of the signage, the basic unit of the modules within the video is composed of squares, with the layout direction adjusted for each venue. A wide variety of objects overlap within the video, gradually emerging as a personal “Togenkyo.”
