A commercial director and photographer based in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
After graduating from the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2013, she began her career under the name Miss Bean. Her work spans advertising photography, graphic design, editorial, commercial films, music videos, and personal publications. She has participated in a wide range of music projects by leading Hong Kong artists, including Eason Chan, Gigi Leung, and Chan Fai Young x Women’s Chorus. From 2013 for four years, she serialized her photo series “Cardamom” in the Hong Kong magazine TAO. Inspired by the literature of Franz Kafka, she published the photo book Planet K. In 2015, she directed the FUJIFILM commercial “World Proposition,” and in 2019, as a collaborative project with FUJIFILM, held the exhibition “Poems of a Girl” using outdoor billboards. Major exhibitions include the solo show “Human Forms” (2020, Parallel Space) and “In-Between” (2022, Hong Kong Museum of Art). From spring 2021, she was responsible for photography for LUMINE’s advertising campaign for one year.
In 2017, she received the Hong Kong Young Design Talents Award and relocated to Japan. After an overseas training program at Mikiya Takimoto Photo Office, she joined the studio in 2020 (Japan domestic management).
