Profile: Born in 1984 in Saitama, Japan. Graduated from the Department of Photography, College of Art, Nihon University. Began working as a freelance film director while still a student, and joined KEYAKI WORKS Co., Ltd. in 2012. In 2018, moved to EPOCH Inc. as an independent artist. Specializes in large-scale direction using VFX, and is known for his ability to transform motifs drawn from subcultures such as sci-fi, horror, and martial arts action into polished, pop-oriented visuals with a mainstream appeal. His motto is, “Make cute things cuter, and cool things cooler.”
