- Born in 1988 in Chigasaki, Kanagawa. After graduating from university and vocational school, he joined Geek Pictures as a member of the first cohort in the Planning and Direction Department. One year after joining the company, he established himself as a director. In 2022, he became independent. He is currently represented by Sekai Inc. He specializes in a wide range of visual expression, from expansive big visuals in natural settings to tabletop stop-motion animation. He made his feature film directorial debut with Tokyo Ghoul [S].
