This is an animated research work that deconstructs the everyday visual experience of a “room tour” through the manipulation of perspective.
Its approach lies in continuously transforming the perspective by distorting the structure of the entire room, while leaving all objects within the space—furniture and small items—completely still.
By representing space itself with motion graphics, the work induces a visual illusion in which stationary objects appear to acquire autonomous movement,
blurring the boundary between 2D graphics and 3D spatial perception, and unsettling the viewer’s sense of “what exactly is moving?” in this experimental approach.
