This is the music video for Takashi Nakatsuka’s song “Ladies and PAC-MAN,” included on the PAC-MAN 40th anniversary compilation album, “JOIN THE PAC - PAC-MAN 40th ANNIVERSARY ALBUM -”. Inspired by a night spent dancing in the world of Pac-Man, I created it around the themes of dance and fashion. The 1980s, when Pac-Man was born, now feel strangely futuristic, and with that future in mind, I developed the visuals with an awareness of visualizing the sound. The more you listen to Nakatsuka’s music, the more intricate it becomes, and you discover something new each time. This track was exactly the same. I’ve incorporated that kind of intricacy throughout the artwork. I’d be happy if viewers could watch it and experience it while feeling those things.

I directed and produced a promotional video for the XPERIA XA2 Plus. To convey the product’s elegant curved form and the abundance of features designed for entertainment, I used its distinctive metal surface, creating a story in which the surfaces that adorn the product respond to each feature and its design, revealing a variety of expressive forms.
