Mei-chan and Homecomings - Wonder Wander

A music video written and produced by Homecomings, aired on NHK E Tele’s “Shakin!”. With “the individual” as its theme, the lyrics were written by guitarist Yuki Fukutomi and the music was composed by vocalist Ayaka Tatamino, creating a collaborative song with Mei-chan, who appears on the show. In the music video, the protagonist’s worldview is expressed through sets resembling a handmade planetarium and an imaginary secret base. It fantastically depicts a world that expands as children with different personalities come to know and understand one another’s values.

In this work, the choreography expresses the sea with the whole body, and the song incorporates themes such as environmental issues facing the ocean and a growing concern for the sea, aiming to unite feelings about the ocean while everyone from children to adults enjoys dancing together.

Then, one day, Reiji unexpectedly reunites with Shogo, who is working at an electronics retail store in Shinjuku... This is a story of young people who grapple with invisible sensations, their move to Tokyo, setbacks, and resurgence.
