Sleeping Anime "Mysterious Factory"

CG animation for the “Nemuru Ma Anime” segment included in U-NEXT Kids’ picture-book reading program “Nemuru Ma Ehon.” By weaving together the factory motifs that Masaya Ishikawa had explored in his previous works with the absurd ideas of Senpuukyaku Hoshiko, the piece was brought to life as a mysterious and charming visual work. The 3DCG production was handled by Hoshiko. Through repeated trial and error, the process by which “something” whose state keeps changing—such as being stretched or painted—is manufactured was visualized. In the latter half, frame-by-frame “faces” are given to the manufactured objects to endow them with emotion, retelling the factory line as a single story.

We paid particular attention to how to convey the excitement of being at the game—its tension, strategic back-and-forth, and fast-paced action—through video.

Development Reel summarizing the 2024 production process of the ongoing self-produced educational content Dr. Puttunko’s Fun CG Lab. In 2024, I mainly worked on building 3D background art, expanding the world of the work while refining its tone. I created, in Blender, a retro-futuristic near-future city, the vast natural landscapes serving as the setting for the adventure, dungeons, and scenes from another world. The project is still in progress as it moves toward release.

Summer Jumbo Lottery TV Commercial

A TV commercial that brings the Summer Jumbo Lottery mascot character “Kū-chan” to life in 3DCG and packs its fiercely energetic basketball play into a short animation. By recreating a flexible skeletal structure unlike that of a humanoid character, the piece expresses dynamic movement. The crowd was also boldly abstracted to unify the overall tone.

Mind Mapping – To Take Care of What We Really Care About

A video essay that organizes methods for structuring thought by using mind maps, based on the content of a lecture held in the same year. It was created with 3DCG and motion graphics, combining a wide variety of visual expressions. The tree-like diagram of thought is depicted through the metaphor of a maze, with “the fun labyrinth” set as the key visual.
