This GIF was commissioned for the campaign “Mio goes well with fruit.” For this project, I felt a fresh, clean look was needed, so I used paper for the materials and designed the visuals with a clean form leaning more toward flat design. I made the props using papercraft and shot them using stop-motion animation.

This GIF video was commissioned for the 30th anniversary of the Vitara, a model in the SUZUKI Automobile Global lineup. Since it is a celebration of Vitara’s 30-year history, I featured two characters who have loved the Vitara through the ages and across model changes, and depicted them joyfully driving in various scenes. The characters’ fashion and the color palette of each scene were designed to suit their respective eras. By using different backgrounds for each model change, the video conveys that the Vitara is suited for both city driving and off-road use. The vehicle bodies were also based on reference materials, and each model’s characteristics were recreated as accurately as possible. This GIF video was created by making every part, including the background, out of paper and animating them frame by frame using stop-motion animation techniques. This is a 30th anniversary GIF for the SUZUKI VITARA.
