Directed the opening sequence for “The Dragon Dentist,” an adventure fantasy set in the Land of Dragons and depicted on an epic scale. Focusing on the organic, fluid aspects of the story—such as souls passing through the dragon and the life and death of its people—the sequence unfolds as a complex visual experience with ever-changing expressions. By combining contemporary graphics with an emaki-inspired approach, the world of the work is rendered in an abstract form. These elements are paired with edgy motion typography to create the opening sequence.
