Yurado, a girl who admires her mother, a Pokémon battle commentator. She lives happily with Kangaskhan, and today too, she’s in front of her diorama, pretending to be a commentator. “Mother is about to begin very important work, so I beseech you to keep quiet!” Though she is asked this, Yurado ends up making a diorama with Kangaskhan. Their time limit is until the battle tournament ends! Yurado and Kangaskhan set out to build a huge, huge diorama, but then an incident occurs...!?

In conjunction with the launch of Kurashiki Kako Co., Ltd.’s new corporate brand, “KURATECA,” we were responsible for the direction, design, and editing of the brand concept film. Kurashiki Kako provides products that support comfortable and safe living, leveraging its vibration and anti-vibration technologies used across a wide range of fields. By visualizing this invisible vibration control technology through live-action footage and animation, we created a film that conveys the company’s solid, life-integrated technology and helps support its outreach to the world.

I was in charge of the direction, design, and editing of HENNGE Inc.’s Zoom waiting screen video. HENNGE WAY, the nine core principles valued by the diverse people who work at HENNGE, were visualized through graphics that express the message behind each one, then brought to life with animation. The motion was designed to help convey the sentiments embedded in them in a more three-dimensional way. Through the visual expression, I aimed to further embody HENNGE’s attitude of embracing change without fear, enjoying it, and continuing to take on challenges with a positive mindset.

About the Project As part of a technical tutorial on video production for the “PLATEAU” project promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, WOW was responsible for planning, producing, and directing a video work themed around Niigata Prefecture. PLATEAU provides 3D city models from across Japan as open data, helping to drive digital transformation in urban development and foster open innovation. In this project, we created a film, tutorial, and hands-on video using Niigata Prefecture’s 3D city model. Through this effort, we explored the creative potential and expressive possibilities of PLATEAU. Video Work “NIIGATA WONDER by PLATEAU” With the ظهور of a dragon, the god of water, mysterious gigantic objects begin to appear in various places across Niigata Prefecture. Their true identities are Niigata’s famous local specialties: Tochio Aburaage, sasadango, poppo-yaki, hegi soba, and snow crab. Guided by the dragon, these giant local delicacies eventually gather at Bandai Bridge in the center of Niigata City—. Combining a 3D model of Niigata City, live-action footage, and VFX, the work portrays the character and unique qualities of the city on a grand scale as a “fictional PR video.” PLATEAU PLATEAU is a project to realize digital twins of cities across Japan, promoted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders. It develops 3D city models as platform data for urban activity and creates use cases across diverse fields. In addition, PLATEAU provides 3D city models as open data so that anyone can freely access urban data. By advancing the development, utilization, and open-data deployment of 3D city models, PLATEAU aims to realize digital transformation in urban development and generate open innovation.

"To Future Scientists" series is a science video published on the official YouTube channel of the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), a Japanese public research organization. It is produced to promote NIMS and to widely share the fascination and appeal of materials research. The theme of #19 is the "Halbach array." By simply changing the arrangement of magnets, the magnetic force changes, revealing the profound nature of magnets—something familiar, yet not widely known.

Spherephony is an experimental music video that aims to harmonize sonic and visual textures. Spherephony expresses the creative flow and the process of exploration as a sphere travels through various landscapes, encountering, playing, and harmonizing with different sounds.

A short movie that makes watching rugby a little more fun (5 episodes in total, 30 seconds each). It introduces rugby trivia under the supervision of Mr. Kazuhiro Tamura, editor-in-chief of Rugby Magazine. You can’t help but eavesdrop on the old man’s muttered remarks! This explanatory movie lets you enjoy the banter between a casual rugby fan and a charming old man while also learning about rugby in a solid, engaging way.

Description: The “To Future Scientists” series is a science video series available on the official YouTube channel of the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), a public research institution in Japan. Along with promoting NIMS, it is created to broadly convey the fascination and appeal of materials science research. The theme of #18 is “The Shadow of Infrared Light.” Infrared light is an invisible form of light that truly exists all around us, yet we are usually unaware of it. Using a distinctive method, this work reveals the power of infrared light. Though it is a simple experiment, it also symbolizes how changing the way we see the world can lead to new discoveries and ideas.

A short film based on Jun’ichiro Tanizaki’s novel *The Makioka Sisters*, depicting an aspect of Hanshin modernism. It portrays the romance between Taeko, the free-spirited fourth daughter of the Makioka family, and Miyoshi, a bartender, as Taeko “Koisan” falls in love freely and recklessly. The date scenes were filmed at locations such as Isoshian (Tanizaki Jun’ichiro’s former residence) and Hotel Hanakomichi, which also appears in the original work, depicting a natural time-slip into Kobe and Arima Onsen.

A short film created for submission to the screening event “FRENZ2025.” In anticipation of its summer release, the script was written around the theme of summer, and ǢǪ composed the music based on the script and character designs. The result was a story-driven visual work that focused on the excitement of looking forward to summer vacation, as well as the wistfulness and loneliness of summer’s end, Obon, and the many different facets of summer. This visual work takes as its theme the summer vacation of two second-year high school students, told from the perspective of Rei Izumi. Using analog techniques to create a nostalgic atmosphere, it depicts the scenes in which Rei’s feelings for Chikao, and the diary pages recording their memories together, appear and vanish like a life flashing before one’s eyes, alongside the music. By staining printed illustrations with tea and coffee to create blotches and signs of wear, and incorporating textures rendered through analog means such as crayons and India ink, the work expresses how the days the two spent together gradually become more and more hazy. ・Synopsis After the closing ceremony, second-year high school students Chikao Amaha and Rei Izumi headed to a family restaurant to discuss their plans for summer vacation. During the break, Chikao would be busy with a part-time job, and Rei with activities in the art club, but even so, they were filled with excitement for the summer vacation about to begin.

Based on the concept of the impulse response of the auditory system known as the ear, it explores a state in which music and image mutually interfere with each other.

An attempt to reconstruct heaven and hell, and the purgatorial purification of Catholicism, from the perspective of the transformation of memory. By incorporating drawings by No-ka and uncertain images generated through machine learning, the work seeks to depict how memories burdened with pain are altered and supplemented, wavering toward salvation.

Commentary: In everyday life, I’m always thinking about how much I can refine my environment when facing creation. one nova, sometimes called a “second skin,” is something that reduces stress and creates a sense of space within. From there, I feel as though fleeting moments quietly emerge. I believe that within those moments lies the beauty that dwells in simplicity. In this film, I sought to express that quiet, understated presence.
