Under the concept of INTIMATE FUTURES, we participated in PAUSE FEST’s MOTION RESPONSE. The relationship between humans and science and technology has grown so close that it must now be redefined. We began by exploring this relationship in greater depth. We attempted to indirectly express what happens inside the human body when our relationship with one another is connected, establishing that relationship and ultimately completing an important bond. This process leads to emotions and sensations that are inherently human. Also, every shot was created with artificial and unreal elements. One of the main creative challenges of this project was conveying, as delicate and suggestive imagery, the idea of being an intimate presence as close as sexual intercourse. For this work, we carried out many viscoelastic fluid simulations. These were extremely difficult to keep stable, and we had to redo them many times, and in some cases discard shots altogether.
