We portrayed the moments of happiness of people shopping at Marui using high-quality CG. This was a collaboration with a 3DCG studio in Berlin, Germany, and KOO-KI staff also stayed in Germany for about three months, directing the production on site alongside local artists. We held detailed daily meetings with the Japanese team over Skype and carried out production across the two locations.

KOO-KI’s Momen directed JR West’s inbound web CM. This PR video is designed to make inbound visitors to Kansai feel like taking a casual trip to Kyushu and Hakata as well. In August 2021, IMS, the commercial complex in Tenjin, Fukuoka, will close its doors. KOO-KI will serve as its creative partner for the roughly year and a half leading up to the closure. The first installment conveys a message to people in the city who mistakenly believe that IMS, like other nearby commercial facilities, will close in March 2020, in a way that brings a smile to viewers’ faces.

PR movie created to encourage people to visit Tenjin. Watching the people working in Tenjin bow one after another like a human domino effect is a spectacular sight! Because the concept was designed to deliver the message directly, the direction was also kept “straightforward” and “easy to understand.” The aim was to remind local residents of Tenjin, as going out to the shopping mall near home had become part of everyday life and people were starting to hesitate to make the trip into Tenjin.

This is the final commercial for IMS, a landmark shopping complex in Tenjin, Fukuoka, which closed at the end of August 2021. In addition to the TV commercial, we also handled the overall closure campaign, including large hanging banners, website assets, various transit ads, and newspaper advertisements. The piece was designed so that the closure would not feel negative, so that it would not seem like a mere ending, and so that it would also convey gratitude to everyone who loved it.
