In August 2021, IMS, the commercial complex in Tenjin, Fukuoka, will close its doors. KOO-KI will serve as its creative partner for the roughly year and a half leading up to the closure. The first installment conveys a message to people in the city who mistakenly believe that IMS, like other nearby commercial facilities, will close in March 2020, in a way that brings a smile to viewers’ faces.

Hiroshima Institute of Technology 2018 admissions promotional commercial. KOO-KI’s Ikushima directed two versions: one for all departments and one for the Department of Food and Life Sciences. By using line-drawing animation, the piece moved away from the conventional image of an engineering university centered on men and machinery.

The newly opened Fukuoka City Science Museum’s planetary development simulator, “Planet Planter.” Visitors can take part by inserting the stamp card they are given, working together and competing as they develop a planet.
