Tsuyoshi Takamura

Profile
Born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1978. Graduated from the Department of Image Design, Kyushu Institute of Design in 2001. Joined KOO-KI in 2003, where he works as a director and technical director. After working on the direction and production of motion graphics, VFX, and 3DCG, he has recently been responsible for planning and producing interactive content using programming. With a focus on the fusion of video and interaction, he has expanded his work into apps, web, and AR/VR content by applying the know-how cultivated through video production, broadening the scope of his activities. His educational app “Mr. Shape’s Touch Cards” was selected for the Good Design Award and recommended by the jury of the Japan Media Arts Festival, and has now surpassed 1 million downloads. In 2017, his permanent installation “Planet Planter” at the Fukuoka City Science Museum received the Special Jury Prize, Tsuguhiko Kadokawa Award, in the General Category of the 6th Digital Ehon Award.
