The video was filmed in Okutama, reuniting with the production team behind “Dong Chang Swag,” which caused a huge buzz when it was released last year. One of the themes was to incorporate the “sakura” mentioned in the title into the visuals, and production was timed to coincide with the peak cherry blossom season. As a new filming technique, drone aerial footage was used for the first time in a THE CHERRY COKE$ music video, and its stunning visual beauty is a must-see! The scenario and direction clearly convey the feelings behind the title “Sakura Boat” and the song’s passionate message. On top of that, carefully crafted filming techniques are interwoven with exquisite balance. This work was created for the RE:ENCODE event. It is based on black (#000000) and white (#ffffff), with shades and tones expressed through changes in the z-axis and transparency. Care was also taken with the camera movement and motion blur so that they would match the driving energy of the music.

Like coffee brewed with a paper drip, this music video playfully captures the song’s stylish world, while retaining a hint of bitterness. The Manhattan SoHo-inspired setting in New York was entirely created in Unreal Engine 5. The English parts of the lyrics appear on street signs and displays throughout the city, and the protagonist’s walking pace is perfectly synchronized with the rhythm of the song, pursuing an expression that feels pleasant even just to watch. In addition, the video is filled with foreshadowing related to UFOs and the weather, with careful attention paid to every detail so that the more you watch it, the more new discoveries you can make.
