This work is the second chapter of the Taniguchi × Tanaka collaborative trilogy, following “Re:Game.” A “flight” depicted as a one-shot-style POV horror. The camera becomes the protagonist’s eyes, dragging you down from the audience seats and turning you into the “escapee,” along with the rising breathlessness and the fear of proximity.

Description: This work depicts a fantastical landscape that evokes a scene from a science fiction film. A massive artificial structure suddenly appears amid majestic nature. Through its uncanny presence, the work expresses the relationship between artificial and natural elements, as well as the fragility of landscapes as they change over time. In creating this piece, I aimed to complete a single scene in a short period of time, working under the constraint of finishing everything from concept to rendering in approximately two hours. [About the techniques] ・Natural elements (rocks, etc.): Realistic textures were pursued using Megascans scan data ・Artificial elements (ring-shaped structure, etc.): Modeled in Blender ・Textures: Surface details created with Substance Painter ・Scene construction: Unreal Engine 5 was used to adjust placement, lighting, and atmospheric effects (sky, clouds, fog) Software Used ・Unreal Engine 5 ・Blender ・Substance Painter PC ・Windows 11 ・Intel Core i7 12th Gen ・RTX 4070 Ti Super ・64 GB RAM
