An abstract animation using motifs of the body, with freedom as its theme.

I love rice balls. Let’s pinch the rice grains stuck to our mouths and watch rice grow to cheerful music! To help young children have fun learning about rice, I created this animation about the process from growing rice to eating it (including rice plant growth, rice planting, rice harvesting, cooking, and more). Animation: Ikuo Kato Clay was placed on glass and filmed with light shining from below. Music: Wakako Abo The animation was matched to lively, cheerful music based on the South Indian instrument called the “parai.” Nrithyanjali Dance Troupe https://nrithyanjali.info/
