To mark the 15th anniversary of the picture book artist duo The Cabin Company, their first major solo exhibition, “Dōdō Sanka,” is being held. KOO-KI was responsible for the animation segment of the exhibited work “Clouds and Monuke.” Based on the directive to make it chaotic and free, we focused on staying true to The Cabin Company’s unique world and direction in our production. It was a lot of fun bringing these vibrant, life-filled works to life!

Kore-eda Hirokazu has adapted “Like Asura,” widely acclaimed as scriptwriter Kuniko Mukoda’s masterpiece, for the screen. With both venom and elegance, I aimed to capture the unique atmosphere of the film, which draws you in more and more as it unfolds.
