Gloaming -before the haze-

2022
00:01:45
A prequel to “Gloaming - haze -”. It depicts the story of the girl from haze, back when she was still wearing a mask, and follows her up until the moment she removes it. The home environment is also a closed-off one, and the work suggests that the same kinds of circumstances depicted in haze exist there as well. THE SPELLBOUND, a rock band formed by Masayuki Nakano of BOOM BOOM SATELLITES with Yusuke Kobayashi of THE NOVEMBERS as vocalist, was responsible for producing the music video (MV) and TV spot for “Subete ga Soko ni Arimasu You ni.” The song was written specifically as the ending theme for the fourth season of the TV anime Golden Kamuy. Having previously streamed live performances with a single camera, this work adopts an idea proposed by the band members and is composed as a single-take edit shot with one handheld camera. By focusing on lighting and movement, the piece was designed to place greater emphasis on the song and the band members, expressing a sense of immediacy and forward momentum reminiscent of a live performance.

Directed, shot, and edited the mystery drama “The One Who Ends It,” distributed on “VISION,” the video content platform of “LINE NEWS” operated by LINE Corporation, and released by the vertical-video content label “JOGE KANKEI W (World).” This is our representative shuntaro’s first drama as a director. This mystery follows police officer Takuya Shimizu (Tetsuji Tamayama), who, together with his younger partner Kyoya Hasui (Aoi Okuyama), pursues the truth behind a gruesome murder case in which a corpse and a mannequin are fused together. As the story unfolds, it gradually connects with the meaning behind the title “The One Who Ends It,” creating a new kind of drama. Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. Theater Video

2022

To coincide with the renewal of Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd.’s experiential facility, the “Customer Experience Center,” we filmed and produced an ultra-wide theater video. With a focus on the experiences gained through the use of software, we aimed to let viewers feel them sensorially rather than through an explanatory presentation of the video content. By incorporating graphic expressions and taking advantage of the theater’s ultra-wide format to create horizontal expansiveness and spaces that can only be conveyed through video, we sought to achieve an expression that can be experienced only here.
