Produced as a message of encouragement, with the hope that this video would brighten the spirits of students preparing for exams during the COVID-19 pandemic, even if only a little. Measuring for a school uniform. The moment they first put it on and look in the mirror. A piece created with the hope that, while remembering our own school days, it would help give people at least a little boost of excitement for their new lives ahead.

To mark the 15th anniversary of the picture book artist duo The Cabin Company, their first major solo exhibition, “Dōdō Sanka,” is being held. KOO-KI was responsible for the animation segment of the exhibited work “Clouds and Monuke.” Based on the directive to make it chaotic and free, we focused on staying true to The Cabin Company’s unique world and direction in our production. It was a lot of fun bringing these vibrant, life-filled works to life!

Description: We planned and produced video content for a massive LED signage display, approximately 16K in resolution and measuring 24m wide by 2.8m high, for the entrance of mixi’s new office on the 36th floor of Shibuya Scramble Square. As the welcoming face for visitors, we explored ways to express the company’s “free creativity unconstrained by conventional ideas” as our core theme. Based on the “For Communication” mission consistently upheld by the services created by the mixi Group, we established four content themes: “Location - SHIBUYA,” “Inclusiveness - DIVERSITY,” “First Move - MOTION,” and “Sharing - TIME.”
