Whatever Taipei developed a “Taiwan Beer–flavored bath bomb” series in collaboration with the local Taiwanese brand HanBeer, as the second installment of its bath bomb line “Don’t Drink Me,” inspired by original Taiwanese drinks. https://www.pinkoi.com/product/CdznjmqQ Inspired by the drinking culture enjoyed at Taiwanese rechao (熱炒) restaurants, the series features three flavors: IPA, lychee beer, and osmanthus beer. Each bath bomb faithfully recreates the iconic aroma and realistic appearance of Taiwan Beer, with meticulous attention to detail, even down to the shape of the foam. Each bath bomb is also wrapped in a specially designed retro beer glass, which can be reused as a drinking glass after use. To commemorate the launch, a pop-up event was also held at “Wetland Venue” in Taipei, offering an immersive “tipsy bathroom” experience. Visitors could take photos in a bathtub surrounded by beer-colored tiles, or join a scent experience session at a unique sink made from stacked beer crates. One thing to keep in mind, however—this bath bomb is “Don’t Drink Me”!

Whatever Taipei designed a new key visual for “Aka Bako Beauty Soap,” the classic best-selling product of the long-established Japanese brand Cow Brand. It also planned the brand’s first-ever experiential special exhibition, “Sento-gaku.” https://www.cow-style.com.tw/index.php The key visual incorporates the classic atmosphere of a sento, designing “Aka Bako” to evoke a warm bath and create a soothing, comforting ambiance. In the experiential exhibition “Sento-gaku,” organized in collaboration with the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Japanese sento culture is faithfully recreated, allowing visitors to explore the bathing culture of Japan. In the exhibition area of “Sento-gaku,” noren curtains once designed by Cow Brand to suit customs across Japan are displayed in a row. When visitors pass through them, they feel as if they have time-traveled back to a public bath from a hundred years ago. Various sento-related items are also on display, along with a mural of “Red Fuji” made by stacking Aka Bako bars; a faint fragrance fills the space, soothing both body and mind. In addition, during the exhibition period, theme lectures by popular instructors and a DIY soap stamp workshop were also held. Through “Aka Bako,” visitors were given an opportunity to bring Japan’s unique sento culture into their everyday lives.

We created the animation “The Song of Repetition by ROUTINE RECORDS,” which is used in a new segment of NHK E Tele’s children’s program Aokiiro, together with HERALBONY. “Ao” and “kiiro” are different colors, but when the two overlap, they become the same “midori.” Aokiiro is a program that nurtures a “mindset of coexistence,” in which many forms of life overlap and resonate with one another, and people come to rejoice together, help one another, and live together. In “The Song of Repetition by ROUTINE RECORDS,” we use the “tone” of repetitive behaviors, or routines, which may at first seem strange to others, as exhibited by people with disabilities, as a guide to express their invisible “inner landscapes” through music and animation. We also produced a music video version, “The Song of Repetition,” which brings together the stories of four artists contracted with HERALBONY into a single song.
