Using BONJIN’s signature chaotic collage style, I created a work centered on the theme of a zoetrope. It expresses the way everyday life appears to repeat endlessly, and yet deep within the heart, the hidden light and ideals still remain. By employing an observer-like perspective to portray the structure within the jacket artwork for “Ubugoe,” I also tried to create the impression of looking down upon even that everyday life from above. Even if the treasure within oneself falls apart, one must still keep running forward—I tried to express the melancholy of that feeling and the aesthetics of it itself.

An original song by the unit miComet, featuring Sakura Miko and Hoshimachi Suisei. This work is themed around an “infinite loop,” and within the tone of its pop sound, it seeks to add depth as a visual piece by subtly weaving in a faint sense of unease and dissonance during the interlude. A film commemorating the 10th anniversary of KARTE, a CX platform operated by PLAID Inc. We were responsible for the motion design of the motion graphics section. By using camera movement to follow extending lines, we aimed to express the company’s 10-year journey while creating a seamless and satisfying visual experience.

Memories are flowing away. I am falling.

In the initial concept, we truly entrusted part of the production to AI, exploring a singularity-like structure: what does it mean for AI to possess a self and express itself? However, while AI is suited to producing “something similar” as a form of collective intelligence, when it comes to depicting “the beauty within unease” or “human-like misalignment,” human hands were inevitably necessary. As a result, we shifted to a design in which AI expressions are “intentionally reconstructed by humans,” arriving at a paradoxical approach in which humans manually create the very condition of AI’s “imperfection.” We have designed it as a game, in a sense: a contrastive device that highlights human creativity by having humans deliberately create something AI-like.

A music video commemorating the 10th anniversary of Assassination Classroom. We created it in a reverse-flow style, assembling collaborations with various artists into one edit. It became a work like a motion-design festival.

This was created as an animation based on an original illustration by Muneto Ashizawa.

Through the voice of VOICY, a circle of diverse people continues to expand. We expressed this abstractly through shapes. We hope this fan festa will be the same.

I expressed Mr. Sato’s human magnetism, which stirs up a storm.

I directed Angerme’s “Bibitaru Ichigeki.” Beautiful warriors embodying a destructive impulse. Including lyric motion and other motion graphics, the work expresses the impulse of strength.

Theme: a convenient relationship between a man and a woman. The editing constructs a rhythm sustained by the gaps in sound and the intentions of a man and a woman who never fully align. In addition to BONJIN’s editorial perspective, the video also incorporates collages created by the artist himself.

Using green screen filming plus full CG compositing, we maximized the expression of a “POP x STREET” world.
