A song that conveys the message, “Don’t compare yourself to others; just move forward at your own pace,” is paired with wind and a flowing collage space to express the “flow of life,” including its instability and detours.

Based on the concept that life is a story found after moving through the city and taking in its nature, and that this is what shapes the self, the collage unfolds accordingly.

While carrying the uplifting spirit fitting for the theme song of “King’s Brunch,” I hope it can offer comfort by saying, “It’s okay as you are, as long as you keep moving forward little by little.”

Using BONJIN’s signature chaotic collage style, I created a work centered on the theme of a zoetrope. It expresses the way everyday life appears to repeat endlessly, and yet deep within the heart, the hidden light and ideals still remain. By employing an observer-like perspective to portray the structure within the jacket artwork for “Ubugoe,” I also tried to create the impression of looking down upon even that everyday life from above. Even if the treasure within oneself falls apart, one must still keep running forward—I tried to express the melancholy of that feeling and the aesthetics of it itself.

Set to a song that feels like wordplay, it repeatedly transforms and branches from one form to another. The content depicts days that loop from morning to night. The image blurs and collapses into soft, squishy distortions, yet the way it keeps changing shape and moving forward is, for me, a kind of dynamic equilibrium. No matter how much I think of myself as me, the person I was three minutes ago and the person I am now may be completely different. No matter how much joy or sorrow there is, it is only part of a larger process of change, and yet we still have to keep living—that is what makes this world feel a little like hell.
