I performed VJing at “Mojito Club,” an event hosted by DJs Reochiba and Shunsuke Kudo. Using VJ software I programmed myself, I played the visuals live for about two hours by tapping an 8x8 MIDI controller on the spot. I focused on the commonality between techno music, which “creates rhythm by placing sounds appropriately,” and typography, which “creates rhythm by placing letters appropriately.”

I directed three TV commercials introducing the business of Mizuho Financial Group. The commercial features Natsuki Deguchi, and the music is by Kabanagu. This was my first time directing commercials, and with guidance from Masaki Ueda and the production team, I completed the project over a three-month process that included storyboarding, filming, and editing. I also created the motion design for the text myself.

I directed a promotional video for CASIO’s G-SHOCK GRAVITYMASTER GR-B200. Since this watch is based on the concept of a helicopter, we created a somewhat unusual shoot, with visuals that made it look as if it were floating and with the watch itself spinning dramatically. During the shoot, I wondered if we could reflect a helicopter rotor on the watch face, so we quickly made a prop during the lunch break.

MVの撮影は、世界13カ国で展開されるバー、コヨーテ・アグリー・サルーン六本木を1日貸し切って行われた。楽曲タイトルと同様に“ドンチャン騒ぎ”をテーマにしており、傷ついたサラリーマンが一念発起して新たな自分に生まれ変わる奮闘模様が収められている。また、ライブシーンは出演した全キャストに加わえ、メンバーの友人＆知人、当日現場にいた関係スタッフ、公募で集まったファンも参加。KAT$UOは「THE CHERRY COKE$史上、最高の作品と言えるくらい満足したMVに仕上がりました！」とコメントしている。

WOW was in charge of planning and producing the Autumn Winter 2019 season movie for BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE. Amid the bustle of the city, BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE bags radiate a striking beauty. What kind of world would emerge if there were a city where these bags gathered? Inspired by urban landscapes, such as the light reflected on buildings and signs found throughout the city, we linked them with the bags designed from these scenes to create a new and unique city.
