According to legend, "Nomi no Sukune" is regarded as the father of Japanese sumo. He is also said to have abolished the practice of human sacrifice at the tombs of powerful chieftains and devised haniwa, unglazed clay sculptures, in their place, and to have died in Tatsuno, Hyogo Prefecture.

A promotional video for a collaboration project between textile designer Yuri Himuro and Moleskine, centered on the motif of “sakura.” This is one of three stop-motion pieces that present story-driven notebooks born from the “park” where Himuro always takes her walks, accompanied by music by Akiko Shiina, created from sounds recorded in that same park. Focusing on conveying the distinctive appeal of “SNIP SNAP,” YURI HIMURO’s unique fabric designed to be cut and enjoyed, the piece expresses the work in stop-motion, imagining threads as cherry blossoms.
