WOW was responsible for planning and producing the communication design for “Riiiver,” a new IoT platform jointly developed by Citizen Watch and VELDT. To coincide with the launch of Riiiver, the first compatible product, the solar-powered smartwatch “CITIZEN Eco-Drive Riiiver,” was released. Combining the functionality of a smartwatch with the beauty of a wristwatch, this product is characterized by the high degree of freedom it offers users to customize the watch’s functions themselves. By linking it with the Riiiver smartphone app, users can assign their preferred functions to the buttons and freely control the movement of the hands. The promotional video focuses on the distinctive motion of the hands, graphically depicting the various movements of the three hands, the body design, and the color variations in a fast-paced sequence. It also expresses the connections and sharing between apps through this watch by arranging multiple color variations of the watch on a single screen.

カオスな感じでやってほしいという要望で、「やりすぎかな？って思うくらいでちょうどいいので遠慮しないでくださいｗ」って言われて、良い人たちだなぁって思いました。 グリーンバックの前でメンバー一人ずつの演奏カットを撮って、背景や前後にCGを足しまくりました。 「TRADITIONAL」が伝統という意味なので、日本で生まれた文化である浮世絵や絵文字などのCGを、昭和の子供が洋服タンスにシールをペタペタ貼るような気持ちで素材を画面に何も考えずに置いていきました。 これだけCGや2Dエフェクトをふんだんに盛り込んで動かしまくると、YouTubeにアップした時には圧縮されてぐちゃぐちゃになって見えなくなるので、4Kにアプコンしてアップロードしています。単にHDを４Kにアプコンしてアップしただけでも４Kで再生したら圧縮ノイズが少ないので、出来る限り４Kで納品したらいいのかなーって思いました。 メンバーさんたちに完成したのをみせたら、「なんじゃこりゃあ！！！！」ってかなり喜んでくれました(笑)。 こんなふうに絵文字が盛られててもWiennersがやるとふざけた感じにはならない。 超絶ハチャメチャポップなバンドなので、盛りが強めでやりすぎ気味のカオスな映像にもメンバーが食われてないのがすごいと思います。 めっちゃお気に入りのMVになりました。
