Explanation: In recent years, with the rise of short-form videos on social media, I had come to believe that creating short yet engaging elements in CG visuals was key. When we were approached for this project, I felt it could be an opportunity to take on an experimental challenge, so we created a work that UNDEFINED had never done before: something “cool, but humorous.” Having previously produced the CM video for ZONe QUICK BOOST, we built this video based on that same world. In terms of its look, we crafted it as a cinematic 3DCG world, while the content was distilled into a comedic story: “Zonko tries to buy a vending machine, but it turns out to be a trap, and she is suddenly chased by a flood of cans pouring out toward her.”

I was responsible for the typography and HUD design. This work was aimed at creators, so the software UI and other elements were deliberately designed to feel familiar and to resonate with creators.

To set this apart from previous dance videos, I created the background entirely in CG. I produced it with the concept of dancing under the starry sky on a planet.

A narrow tunnel enveloped in darkness. In the midst of it, a single vending machine appears, shining brilliantly. With the power of ZONe, light shines through the darkness!
