「パックマン」40周年記念コンピレーション・アルバム 『JOIN THE PAC - PAC-MAN 40th ANNIVERSARY ALBUM -』に含まれている中塚武さんの曲「Ladies and PAC-MAN」のミュジックビデオです。 パックマンの世界で踊り明かす夜をイメージし、ダンスとファッションというテーマで制作しました。パックマンが生まれた80年代は今見ると不思議に未来的で、そんな未来を想い描きながら、音のビジュアライズを意識して絵に起こしていっています。中塚さんの楽曲は聴けば聴くほど緻密で、聴く度に発見があります。今回の楽曲もまさにそうでした。そういった緻密さを絵の随所に入れています。そんなことを感じながら観て体験していただけると嬉しいです。

Commentary: Unlike the opening movies of the previous three titles, this one takes a completely different direction and has been crafted as a passionate coming-of-age film. Everyone is doing their best to live within limited time. From the manager’s perspective, we portray Pawapuro-kun, his teammates, his rivals, and the people cheering them on, filling it with youthful, heart-pounding episodes. The feelings entrusted to us are passed on once again to the next. Our future begins beyond the traces of our dreams. Aim for Koshien!
