The World of Dew
制作：安永佳織
A Dewy World There is a photograph taken on the day I first came home after being born. My grandfather is sitting there, gazing intently at me as I sleep in my futon as a baby. Twenty years later, one night I had a strange dream. When I opened my eyes in the dream, my grandfather was lying right beside me. His sparse beard was so vividly clear that it seemed I could touch it if I reached out my hand. I stared at my grandfather in the dream, as he seemed to be sleeping peacefully.

You and I are lying once again atop a train that has just begun to move. The cold night wind brushing against our skin grows gradually stronger and sharper. With a voice I had long since forgotten, you speak to me. “But we have to think about how to live together in different ways.” I stare intently at your face. That familiar, nostalgic face I knew so well. I may be holding your hand, and perhaps we are lying atop two different trains running side by side. You open your mouth again, but your words sink into the roaring wind. A white haze is illuminating the eastern horizon.

NEXT VISION JAPAN 2021 XR LIVE, an audience-free online live performance for the new normal era powered by XR Under the theme of “TRANSFORM,” this live show took on the challenge of creating a new online live experience by leveraging IMAGICA GROUP’s creativity and cutting-edge visual technologies such as XR from three perspectives: 1. space, 2. performers, and 3. communication. A main stage was specially set up in front of Geo-Cosmos, the world’s first earth display using an organic EL panel and the signature exhibit of the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, and by merging it with XR video technology, the production created an unprecedented spatial presentation worthy of heralding the dawn of future entertainment.
