One of three digital ad variations for Nikkei Electronic Edition’s “U23 Discount Long.” Based on the previously produced “U23 Discount,” this motion graphics piece uses a subdued tone with an autumn/winter feel. Since the target audience is 23 and under, bright warm colors are used as the key palette so the overall look does not become too heavy. There are three musical versions, each arranged differently with influences from 2-step and future garage.

A self-produced video work inspired by the typographic design of the character for “shadow.” By connecting the process itself of shaping it so that it could also function as a three-dimensional structure with the image of “shadow,” which stands side by side with all phenomena, the work was elevated into a single, continuous sequence.

Two people sneak into a decayed western-style mansion that no one lives in anymore. They move closer and closer to the secret hidden in the basement. Overall, the work was designed and art-directed to feel like viewing a piece of art, with everything from the costumes to the set design made noble and beautiful. The animation mixes rotoscoping with drawings based on rough key frames.
