me ISSEY MIYAKE “REmeTEX” is an initiative that uses leftover fabric from the brand’s garment-making process as a resource, transforming it into new clothes, expressing the way the breath of the garments up to now is passed on to the next item.

I created the animation for NHK’s Minna no Uta “Reason to Take a Deep Breath,” which will be broadcast over a two-month period starting on February 3, 2025. I portrayed the struggles and determination of a student who is troubled by their future path in a powerful yet warm animation that combines watercolor painting and rotoscope animation.
