Downtown DX / 25th Anniversary CM: Baki Edition

“Downtown DX,” airing on the Yomiuri TV / Nippon TV network every Thursday at 10:00 p.m., has reached its 25th anniversary since its debut.
To commemorate the milestone, visuals created in collaboration with two popular manga artists, Keisuke Itagaki, known for the “Baki” series, and Misawa Jigoku, have been unveiled.
In the “Baki Version,” Downtown is depicted under Itagaki’s supervision so that they almost seem to be characters from his signature work, “Grappler Baki.” Meanwhile, in the “Misawa Jigoku Version,” Misawa drew an original illustration of Downtown in his distinctive worldview. The shared catchphrase for both visuals is, “You’ve been doing this for 25 years, and you’re still keeping DX going?” It expresses Downtown’s affectionate, playful jab at the program.
