We explored how to create visuals that could stand shoulder to shoulder with the intensity of the track “Jungle人.” As part of that approach, we used motion capture throughout the entire piece to express the raw, visceral movements of the human body. In addition, for certain cuts, we synchronized the movement of a live-action camera with a camera in Blender, incorporating the subtle fluctuations unique to live-action footage into the CG camerawork. Centering the work on “physical movement” that goes beyond computational control, we created a piece that visually maximizes the momentum of the music.

Description: We aimed to create a dynamic video centered on the themes of digital and nature. The repetition of the melody synchronizes with the video’s loop-like editing, suggesting the cyclical nature of time, while the cuts change in time with a steady rhythm, creating a seamless connection between sight and sound.

I was responsible for directing and producing the album trailer for PASOCOM MUSIC CLUB - FINE LINE.

This piece, as its title suggests, is centered on “youth.” The artist told us that the song explores youth from three different perspectives, and that the music itself unfolds in three corresponding sections. Based on that structure, we also created the video as a three-part work. We depicted young people moving in groups within society, in a way that seems to resist that movement—or perhaps not quite resist it. The video is built on real-time rendering using Unity. All of the objects are programmed so that they do not collide with one another.

With “breathing” as its theme, it depicts the struggle of someone writhing in agony and the way that struggle accelerates toward release.

Description: Entering an old arcade game, MANON appears as a 3D avatar in a virtual Heisei world. By bringing Heisei gal culture into the Reiwa era, the work was created with the intention of evoking a sense of nostalgia while also allowing viewers to enjoy its chaotic energy.
