I directed the music video for Jizou Sonzai name-less’s “Danzai Democracy.” We created an actual playable game, captured its gameplay footage, and used it to compose the entire MV. To suggest that words of justice can, before long, end up hurting people, the opening begins as a game about freeing people, but by using cheats it is reversed, and people end up being restrained instead. This is our first attempt to express the artist’s distinctive background through the medium of a game.

Description: I directed the music video for ASTERISM’s cover of “Kaikai Kitan,” by a band that debuted as an instrumental metal group. When I listened to the sounds played by the members, I had the sensation that the instruments were singing, and after thinking about how to visualize that, I had the members write down those sounds as lyrics. It was our first attempt at “instrumental lyrics,” and it was very fun to visualize the sounds they hear, matched to the music.
