We were responsible for the direction, design, and editing of the teaser video for Fuji Television Network, Inc.’s drama If the World Were a Stage, Where Would the Dressing Room Be?
This serial drama, for which Koki Mitani is writing the script for the first time in 25 years, is an ensemble coming-of-age story set in Shibuya in 1984. Centered on the theater that holds the key to the story, it features a single-take composition in which Kube, played by Masaki Suda, looks straight into the camera. A parallax effect that makes the cast names appear to float in space evokes the scale and atmosphere of the stage. We brought the world of the drama to life through fonts and designs reminiscent of the Showa era.
