Directed and produced by KOO-KI’s Tatsuhiro Momen, this TV commercial was made for Asahi Solar, a pioneer in solar water heating systems. A sumo wrestler jumps off a roof and dives straight into a bathtub. A shot that would normally require an elaborate setup is rendered realistically yet in a humorous ukiyo-e style using generative AI. In addition to the “East — The Power of the Sun / Blue Sky” version, there is also the “West — Leave It to Us, Peace of Mind / Gold” version.

This work expresses the “playfulness” of Kumamoto-based select shop “BAYBROOK” through “dance.” It was created with the hope that viewers will enjoy fashion in a freestyle way, just like the items dancing freely to quirky techno music.
