I was responsible for the following: ・Direction: from the planning storyboard onward ・Motion design ・Editing We produced the opening for the YouTube program “Discovery ○-Minute Cooking,” in which a famous adventurer eats bizarre foods such as insects. In keeping with the show’s concept, we came up with an opening in which the character calmly eats while the theme song from 3-Minute Cooking plays in the background. Given that the program has a dedicated fan base, we focused on the appeal of watching the adventurous host take things too far every episode and then leaving witty comments in the YouTube comment section; with that in mind, we created the piece around a concept of animating a large number of iconic scenes and homages to the show that are impossible not to comment on.
