This is a self-produced video work themed around spring. It expresses the excitement and positive atmosphere of something about to begin in the new season. I created 12 patterns of square, moving geometric shapes and used them as the main graphic element in the video. At the beginning of the video, as one steps out through a door into the outside world, they encounter various things, and these eventually become flowers. The line that appears in the flower scene, “A flower blossoms for its own joy.”, is a quote by Oscar Wilde, meaning “A flower blossoms for its own joy.” It expresses the feeling of wanting to spend one’s life on things that excite and inspire them. In the scene with the three doors around the 20-second mark, the camera moves toward the door with no footprints. This expresses the feeling of “If I’m going to do it, I want to open up my own path that no one has walked before.”

A moving Japanese painting created for signage. Released as a private work. Rather than an animation piece, it was created with a focus on its function as interior decor, as a subtle moving image that does not make a statement.

I’ve always been bad at sharpening pencils with a cutter, and when I was in third grade, during a school lesson where we used kitchen knives to peel apples, I accidentally cut my finger and had to be quickly bandaged by a teacher, who marked the floor so they could stop the bleeding right away.
